Seeking a BE/BC OBGYN to join hospital in SE Illinois.
- 215 births in 2023
- 7 on/7 off schedule
- Opportunity to provide care in underserved communities
- Outreach to surrounding 8 county service area
- Deliveries at Hospital, a DNV-accredited facility that serves as a regional hub for 8 Southeastern Illinois counties (109,000+ individuals) and has Level II Nursery designation
- State-of-the-art OB/GYN facilities. Our "Family Maternity Services" unit includes birthing suites with an LDRP concept and is staffed with RN's that are specially trained in Neonatal care
- Additional suites for women’s health and gynecological surgery patients
- Clinic is located at our newly built, NHSC Certified Primary Care Clinic that is 5 minutes away from the hospital
- Consult with specialists across the entire Health system which includes Pediatric Specialists, including a Level I Trauma Center that provides Level III Perinatal Services and has dedicated neonatal and perinatal air/ground transport services
- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the College of Medicine
- Opportunity for J1 and H1-B visa sponsorship
- Public service loan forgiveness
The Community:
The City was founded in 1841, and is the seat of Richland County in Southern Illinois. It offers a fine school system with an elementary school, middle school, high school, several parochial schools, and a community college. There is an all-weather airport, approximately four miles west. The community offers an abundance of outdoor recreational activities that include fishing lakes, community parks, an aquatic center and an 18-hole golf course.
Near the IN border you are nearly an hour from Evansville and Terre Haute and less than 3 hours from Indianapolis and St. Louis, MO.
