Job Details:

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days minimum

EMR: Epic
Fetal Monitoring: OBIX
L&D: 3 ORs
Deliveries: 290-340
NICU: Level 3, birth down to 28 weeks

Job Responsibilities

Provide in-patient consults (OB and GYN)
NST Interpretation
Nursing Support
Assist/Manage Obstetrical Emergencies
Provide Emergency GYN consults in the ED and emergency GYN surgery coverage
Attend to Obstetrical emergencies on L&D or Main ED
Provide Triage/OBED coverage for all patients, 24/7- 365
OB Hospitalist will cover all unassigned OB/GYN patients that present to Labor and Delivery or the Main ED for assessment and admissions.

Qualifications

Active/Unrestricted VA MD/DO License
Active DEA
BC/BE
BLS and PALS certifications
Updated CV with mm/yyyy format
Clean malpractice/background history
Minimum of three years experience to be considered for this role.

Working Hours

24-hr shifts, 8am-8am
Call: Only emergent GYN cases, not elective cases will be performed on call. Typically, laparoscopy for ectopics/torsions, D&C for incomplete ABS, etc.
