Practice Details:

• Mission-driven, modern health system in North Carolina
• 25-bed hospital delivering comprehensive patient care
• Support staff includes a 24/7 pediatric hospitalist, anesthesiologist, onsite radiologist, and 24-hour laboratory availability
  • Efficient air and ground transport for patient transfers when needed

Schedule:

• 7am Friday to 7am Monday
• Coverage needed every weekend through the end of the year
• See an average of 1-3 patients per day in a supportive environment
  • Must be able to respond to deliveries within 20 minutes
• Maintain a healthy work-life balance by choosing shifts that fit with your existing schedule

Qualifications:

• Board-certified OBGYN
• ACLS, BLS, DEA, and NRP certifications required
• Evidence of completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years

Cases and Procedures:

• OBGYN responsibilities include:
  • Delivering babies through C-sections and vaginal deliveries
  • Support the ER
• No ICU/Critical Care duties
