Job Description:
Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN for a locum position in Faribault, MN. In this role, you will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients, including prenatal, childbirth, postpartum, and gynecological services. This position offers a dynamic and supportive environment, working with a team of healthcare professionals committed to excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to patients in the areas of obstetrics and gynecology, including routine check-ups, prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and gynecological procedures.
Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat a wide range of women's health conditions, including reproductive health, menstrual disorders, and menopausal issues.
Surgical Procedures: Perform gynecological surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures, and assist in cesarean sections as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
Patient Education: Educate patients about reproductive health, prenatal care, childbirth options, and preventive healthcare.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Valid medical license to practice in Minnesota.
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OB/GYN.
Proficiency in obstetric and gynecological procedures.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
