OB/GYN Physician Locums Job | In-house Call Coverage in New Mexico | Start ASAP through November 2024

Jackson + Coker is partnered with a Women's Hospital located in central New Mexico that is in need of OB/GYN call coverage for maternity/paternity leave. Anticipating 8 to 10 consecutive 24-hour shifts to be covered each month starting ASAP and ongoing.

Details/Requirements #102465:
-- Active and unrestricted New Mexico medical license required at time of presentation
-- Current Board Certification is required
-- 8A to 8A
-- 8 to 10 consecutive shifts
-- C-Sections, tubals, hysterectomies, GYN emergencies
-- Locums physicians can expect to cover both the ED & L&D at times
-- Facility detail: 50+ bed, level 3 NICU, 2000+ annual deliveries, Epic EMR
-- There is a robust midwife group in place that handles most of the deliveries, locums physician will not be required to have supervision responsibilities
-- Support staff: Midwives, RNs, Techs & 24/7 Anesthesia
-- Scope of work: low risk deliveries, high risk deliveries, interpreting level I & II ultrasounds, routine & complicated deliveries, repair of 3rd & 4th lacerations, gynecological surgery at an on call capacity only (staffed providers primarily cover the ED GYN call)
