My client is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing comprehensive primary care services to the community, with a special emphasis on serving underserved populations. Their mission is to offer high-quality, patient-centered healthcare to individuals and families regardless of their ability to pay.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN to join our client’s dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide a full range of obstetric and gynecological services, including preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of women’s health issues. This role is essential in their commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services to the women in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care.
  • Perform gynecological exams, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams.
  • Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions, such as infections, reproductive health issues, and menstrual disorders.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures and assist with major surgeries as needed.
  • Provide family planning and contraceptive counseling.
  • Offer patient education and counseling on reproductive health, pregnancy, and childbirth.
  • Work closely with other healthcare providers, including nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff, to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and progress.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities as necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote women’s health and wellness.
  • Engage with patients' families to ensure comprehensive and family-centered care.
  • Stay current with medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and FQHC guidelines through continuing education and professional development.
  • Participate in training and mentoring of medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as an OB/GYN.
  • Experience working in a primary care setting, preferably in an FQHC or similar environment.
  • Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology, including the ability to manage a broad range of women’s health issues.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations.

Please note- The annual base salary starts at $250k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
