Practice Features

• The practice consists of 4 ObGyn physicians, 6 Certified Nurse Midwives, and one Nurse Practitioner
• Average of 300 births per year, including VBACs
• The Midwives and Nurse Practitioners provide most of the routine OB and well-woman/person care
• ObGyn physicians provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for patients of all ages, both in-office and on-call during off-hours
• Call is 10 days for 1.0 FTE and 1:4 weekends
• Call is back up to a Midwife who takes the first call and handles routine vaginal deliveries and labor management, while also taking patient calls
• Physician office visits consist of more complex OB and GYN consults and a large breadth of office procedures
• 3-4 office days per week
• 60-bed non-profit community hospital
• Serving a rural population of 55,000 people
