A health system with over 600 employees in scenic southern Vermont is adding an OBGYN Physician. Our focus is to provide exceptional health care delivered with compassion and respect. Join a well-established and highly regarded practice that has served the community for over 20 years.
Practice Features
- The practice consists of 4 ObGyn physicians, 6 Certified Nurse Midwives, and one Nurse Practitioner
- Average of 300 births per year, including VBACs
- The Midwives and Nurse Practitioners provide most of the routine OB and well-woman/person care
- ObGyn physicians provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for patients of all ages, both in-office and on-call during off-hours
- Call is 10 days for 1.0 FTE and 1:4 weekends
- Call is back up to a Midwife who takes the first call and handles routine vaginal deliveries and labor management, while also taking patient calls
- Physician office visits consist of more complex OB and GYN consults and a large breadth of office procedures
- 3-4 office days per week
- 60-bed non-profit community hospital
- Serving a rural population of 55,000 people
