**OBGYN Opening in Saginaw, MI**_x000D_ _x000D_ * Join our Faculty team_x000D_ * Full-time_x000D_ * BC/BE_x000D_ * This role includes resident and medical student education, as well as faculty clinic. _x000D_ * Clinical (90%), Educational (5%), Research (5%)_x000D_ * Call coverage shall be performed in accordance with the OB/GYN on-call schedule, which may include weeknight, weekend, and holiday call coverage._x000D_ * Research experience and desire is a MUST._x000D_ _x000D_ **Responsibilities**_x000D_ _x000D_ * The OB/GYN Physician Faculty assists the Program Director in all facets of the academic program. Core faculty members will adhere to the ACGME program requirements for patient care without residents._x000D_ * Faculty will be engaged in providing quality education in a clinical environment, service diverse patients, including the medically underserved and low-income population._x000D_ * Provide clinical supervision, in conjunction with other faculty, for resident clinics, outpatient procedures, and in-patient settings including evaluation of residents and/or medical students in the hospitals._x000D_ * Maintain an independent practice without educational responsibilities for medical students and residents._x000D_ * Supervise residents and/or students who may be taken on electives and inpatient services._x000D_ * Administrative Departmental leadership responsibilities, medical directorships, etc._x000D_ * Contributes to the departmental research objective on a continual basis. This amounts to an average of one day per month for scholarly activity, which would include work on regional or national presentations, research mentoring and peer-reviewed publications as required by ACGME. _x000D_ * Faculty will aid in the planning and implementation of training and educational programs in or relating to their Program, including clinics, out-patient services, office-based programs, other community services, and also assist in the evaluation of such programs._x000D_ * Assist with the annual curriculum for conferences and monitors resident and/or medical student presentations at the conferences, for both the Clinic and member hospitals._x000D_ * Lectures on relevant topics at routine conferences, Grand Rounds topics and other conferences as are educationally required for the residency program._x000D_ * Assist the program in the evaluation of residents at all phases of training._x000D_ * Participates in clerkship student conferences during each rotation._x000D_ _x000D_ **Compensation Package may include:**_x000D_ _x000D_ * Excellent benefits package_x000D_ * Commencement bonus_x000D_ * Relocation assistance_x000D_ * CME allowance with (5) five days_x000D_ * Visa Sponsorship (J1/H1)_x000D_ * Malpractice/liability_x000D_ * License(s) expense_x000D_ * Four (4) weeks of PTO_x000D_ _x000D_ **Requirements**_x000D_ _x000D_ * MD or DO_x000D_ * State of Michigan licensed or eligible_x000D_ * Board-eligible or certified in OBGYN_x000D_ * Controlled Substance license_x000D_ * Must meet credentialing criteria_x000D_ * Leadership or educational experience preferred
