Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to women, specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions related to reproductive health.
- Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast examinations.
- Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions, such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
- Provide prenatal care to pregnant women, including monitoring fetal development, conducting ultrasounds, and managing pregnancy-related complications.
- Perform deliveries, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Georgia.
- Completion of residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices in obstetrics and gynecology.
Responsibilities:
- Counsel patients on contraception options and family planning.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and laparoscopies, as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patient interactions and procedures.
- Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities to stay current on advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
