MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital is home to the Family Birth Center which was completely renovated and expanded in 2014. These renovations included all private birthing suites with en suite bathrooms and tubs, state-of-the-art medical technology, and a Level IV NICU. This is the region's only Level IV NICU. The Family Birth Center also has lactation support on staff as well as a highly trained team of nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff to support new families every step of the way. MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital currently performs approximately 2,900 annual deliveries and approximately 7,300 unscheduled outpatient triage visits.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.
