Job Summary_x000D_
The Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) is responsible for providing medical care to women relating to pregnancy or childbirth; responsible for treating, testing, diagnosing and monitoring diseases and provide general care to women._x000D_

Responsibilities_x000D_
- Provide compassionate, appropriate and effective clinical care for patients of all ages_x000D_
- 100% outpatient care_x000D_
- Maintain good quality medical records_x000D_
- Work within a team collaborative model at a Patient Centered Medical Home_x000D_
- Advocate for quality care on behalf of patients and the organization_x000D_
- Provide care and treatment to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods._x000D_
- Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases, disorders, and conditions._x000D_
- Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and company policy._x000D_
- Perform pap smears, pelvic and breast exams._x000D_
- Conduct mood and emotional well-being assessments during post-partum appointment._x000D_
- Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel._x000D_
- Effectively monitor patients progress throughout treatment plan and care and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes._x000D_
- Educate patients on importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed._x000D_
- Educate patients on disease prevention and reproductive health._x000D_
- Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills._x000D_
- Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow up throughout_x000D_
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients._x000D_
- Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed._x000D_

Requirements_x000D_
- MD/DO degree_x000D_
- Successful completion of residency and/or fellowship_x000D_
- Obstetrical training_x000D_
- Licensed in the state of New York and/or Pennsylvania or willingness to obtain licensure_x000D_
- Board Certified or Board Eligible_x000D_
- DEA Certification required_x000D_
- Ability to demonstrate excellent independent judgment, problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills in order to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, providing patient centered leadership and direction_x000D_
- Must have the emotional intelligence that may include, but not limited to, patience, sensitivity and the compassion to work with patients that may be stressed, anxious, and difficult_x000D_
