Job Description
An Ocala based client is seeking an excellent OB/GYN to provide outpatient gynecology care in a multidisciplinary community health center. There is no call or hospital coverage required. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment and practices evidence-based, patient-centered care. Physicians out of residency with no additional experience are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
- Current FL state medical license
- Completed an accredited residency program
- Current DEA certificate
- Board certified or eligible
- Current CPR certification
- Spanish fluency is a preference
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic and treatment services within OB/GYN scope of practice
- Provide evidence based care for low and high risk obstetric patients
- Provide evidence based in-office gynecological care & services: annual gyn visits, contraception, standard gyn complaints, perimenopausal & menopausal care, insertion of LARC devices, colposcopy, gyn biopsies
- Make referrals as appropriate for best patient interest
- Document all encounters according to organization standard
- Advise and assist ARNP and PA-C mid-level providers as needed in accordance with approved protocols and procedures
- Complete all duties, responsibilities, and competencies in a manner that is appropriate to the age groups to whom care/services are being provided
- Assist in the review of primary care protocols and patient education materials in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and Associate Medical Director
