Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital is a new full-service facility serving the Berkeley County community. It is home to a labor, delivery and postpartum unit. The hospital is excited to be providing quality healthcare closer to home for thousands of their neighbors dedicated to their mission of healing all people with compassion, faith and excellence.
Summerville is in Dorchester County but parts of the city are also located in Charleston and Berkeley counties. It is home to more than 50,000 residents and is conveniently located just minutes from Charleston. Summerville claims the title “The Birthplace of Sweet Tea” and known as “The Flower Town in the Pines.” Summerville has an abundance of public and private gardens and is especially beautiful in the spring when the azaleas bloom.
