Job Description

A Santa Maria based client is seeking an excellent OB/GYN to provide outpatient OB/GYN care in a multidisciplinary community health center. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment and practices evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
  • Current California state medical license
  • Completed an accredited residency program
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Board certified
  • Current CPR certification
  • Preferred - Fluent in Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic and treatment services within OB/GYN scope of practice
  • Make referrals as appropriate for best patient interest
  • Document all encounters according to organization standard
  • Advise and assist ARNP and PA-C mid-level providers as needed in accordance with approved protocols and procedures
  • Complete all duties, responsibilities, and competencies in a manner that is appropriate to the age groups to whom care/services are being provided
  • Assist in the review of primary care protocols and patient education materials in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and Associate Medical Director
