Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a 550+ provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time, board certified or board eligible obstetrician/gynecologist (OB-GYN) committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care in a significantly underserved community. This is a perfect opportunity for an OB-GYN seeking a more rural style of practice with the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice. The clinic, in a new medical office building and the Birkeland Maternity Center (a 20-bed LDR unit with a spa-like feel and atmosphere) are both located on the campus of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa, a newly built 100 bed community hospital supported by a strong network of primary care clinics and specialty care providers.

Support:
Maternal-Fetal-Medicine; Gynecologic Oncologist ; 4 bed Level II NICU; 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; ED; SAMG network of 74 Primary & Specialty Care clinics; larger system resources including Boise OB/GYN practice; da Vinci XI & SI available at Boise campus.
Status: Full Time
Schedule: Traditional workweek plus call and hospital responsibilities, including evenings and weekends. Minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week plus rounding and call.
Call: 1/6 Shared equitably with other employed OB/GYNs.

Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited obstetrics & gynecology residency program
  • Board certification through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG) - or obtain certification within 3 years of employment
  • Obtain Idaho & Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC- Nampa and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
