Opportunity Details:

Sampson Regional Medical Center and Sampson Women’s Center is seeking a board eligible/board certified OB-GYN to join an established practice with one other provider. We seek a skilled and experienced physician who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.

SampsonRMC does not currently offer robotic surgery.

GYN Laparoscopic experience required.

Highlights include:

• Established practice with one physician
• Sampson Women’s Center is located directly beside main hospital
• Combined daily patient volume of 25-35
• Average of 27 deliveries monthly w/ a monthly average of 11 C-Sections
• 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum rooms
• Nursery is Level 1; Critical newborns are transferred west to Fayetteville (30 miles) or southeast to Wilmington (60 miles)
• Shared Call; Expectation of 7 days/month including 1 required weekend
• Strong hospitalist team with excellent leadership
• 24/7 on-call anesthesiology and radiology support
• Wide scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care and Urology

Located in Clinton, NC, Sampson Regional Medical Center has served its community since 1950 and is now one of only a handful of independent, community-based hospitals remaining in North Carolina. The healthcare facility serves as an academic training center for medical students, interns, and residents.
