This Hospitalist position offers:
  • Guaranteed shifts and hourly rate
  • 24 hr. shifts/month with 21+ days off a month

Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) is part of Nuvance Health™, a network of seven hospitals and numerous outpatient facilities throughout the Hudson Valley and across western Connecticut. Located just 75 minutes north of New York City and on the banks of the scenic Hudson River, VBMC currently sees approximately 680 annual deliveries and 1,050 annual unscheduled outpatient triage visits. What Does an OBGYN Hospitalist Do?
  • Handle Ob emergencies/ Deliver babies
  • Collaborate with local physicians
  • Evaluate and treat triage patients
  • Provide leadership on L&D
  • Perform surgeries/ Surgical assists
  • Care for unassigned patients
  • Educate residents and Med students
