**OBGYN opportunity near Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio** Located in Mansfield, OH - 70 miles from Columbus and 80 miles from Cleveland **Position Details:** - Full time, permanent opening - Qualifications: Current Ohio license to practice medicine (MD or DO); must be Board certified or provide letter indicating qualification to sit for certification with expectation of obtaining certification within one year.  - Visa sponsorship available - Provide services in the primary care field of medicine for which the physician is trained.  - Expected to provide the number of budgeted patient visits annually as determined each year and adjusted with notice- this is minimal expectation.  - Active collaboration with and supervision of other health care providers including but not limited to Nurse Practitioners. - Maintenance of all required licensure, certification, registration, training, medical knowledge (including but not limited to new or changing treatments and standards of care), and or expertise to meet the needs of patients of TSFHS as determined by the organization. - Acquisition of additional trainings, licensures, or certificates as deemed necessary by Group in the ongoing determination and mission to meet the needs of patients and the community. - Maintaining on a current basis all appropriate patient records, and likewise to observe and conform to all laws, customs and ethics applicable to the medical profession. - Collaborate in a professional and collegial manner with all members of the health care team regardless of level of licensure. - Practice, communicate, and embody the dispassionate and unbiased delivery of care regardless of personal bias or prejudice and as appropriate for a professional of the rank of staff physician - Compliance with administrative standards including but not limited to medical reports as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer. - Communicate with the Chief Medical Officer all matters relating to malpractice insurance status, including notification of any claims and full compliance with the risk management policies and procedures - Participation in Clinic staff meetings and other meetings as required by the Chief Medical Officer.  - Provide assistance to Chief Operations Officer/Chief Medical Officer with ongoing Quality Improvement Plan or other quality improvement initiatives when required.  - Participation in good faith in peer review audit of charts as designated - Practice good stewardship of clinic and community resources by providing cost effective and efficient care to the patients in our charge. - To be available by Cell Phone after Clinic hours and on weekends as required. - To be available by Cell phone to Nurse Practitioners/ Physicians Assistants for consultation if off premises as required and regardless of scheduled work days. - Other duties as assigned.  **Compensation and Benefits:** - Competitive compensation and paid time off - Employee Assistance Program - Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans - Access to several loan repayment options through the Bureau of Health Workers - Your ideas, input, and contributions are valued and recognized - Excellent clinical, administrative, and management support - Forward-thinking, collaborative, transparent, and inclusive company culture - 403(b) retirement plan with match - Employer-paid life insurance - Employer-paid long-term disability - Continued Medical Education (CME) stipend - Medical malpractice insurance - Tuition assistance **About the Group:** - The group has 8 locations. - 70,000+ annual visits. - Specialties include: Primary Care, OB/GYN, Medical, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Behavioral Health, and Dental. - The Board of Trustees is the governing body and is composed of residents from Richland County who have a diverse background and a shared interest in assisting people in need of affordable health care.
