**Medical Director Opening in Alexandria, LA** We are seeking a board certified OBGYN. Ideal candidates will be board-certified with at least 2 years of leadership experience, able to demonstrate clinical excellence with superior communication skills, practice clinically at the designated facility. Qualifications also include, having an active and current skills in the full breadth of the OB/Gyn specialty with the skill set and confidence to be the only covering clinician in the event of an emergency, and a focus on providing quality care, placing the patient above all other considerations. * Full-time * 6-7, 24 hour in-house shifts per month * Board certification required * Current Louisiana license (or willingness to expedite) * Excellent work-life balance and flexible schedule * Team based approach to OB/Gyn hospitalist care * No billing or coding responsibilities * Employed position, competitive pay plus full benefits package * Director stipend * Free CME and leadership training courses * Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage 328-bed, innovative medical facility and Level II trauma center with more than 200 physicians from 30 medical specialties.
