URGENT: OB/GYN Physician needed in Northern New Hampshire June 17 - July 4

*Location: Northern New Hampshire, Coos County; under 2 hours from Canadian border, Portland, ME and Concord, NH; Beautiful scenic area with abundant recreational activities, hiking, biking, water sports, boutique small town with community and family atmosphere; great place to bring a friend or significant other for the recreation and relaxation.

*Dates needed: June 17 through July 4 (I can take a couple of Physicians that want to take half of the assignment instead of the full.)

*Shifts are 24 hour Call, 8am - 8am, physicians must be available to answer Call within 30 minutes driving time to facility at all times.

*Orientation date required for physicians new to this facility. Orientation will cover hospital, practice, and EMR/CPOE. No night call will be required during orientation day. This occurs one business day prior to start date.

*Work includes on-call (outpatient, ED Consults, OB/GYN inpatient), Hospital and Outpatient clinic, Prenatal Clinic (up to 2 X weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays), surgery (primary surgeon or assistant), labor management, inpatient rounds, etc.

*Required: Clean history and be able to thoroughly & accurately complete application for Medical Staffing in a timely manner (within 2 weeks of decision to accept the assignment). Ideally, locum candidates have already been credentialed fully by locum company and completed at least two assignments elsewhere with satisfactory feedback. Ideally locum candidates will already have NH LICENSE (LOCUM OR PERMANENT, NOT TEMPORARY).

*Candidates must meet threshold eligibility requirements for OB/GYN privileges, including current neonatal resuscitation certification. Reminder that certifications must be through the American Heart Association or an approved program.

*Candidates who can fill all/multiple weeks of coverage, and require limited travel (at less cost to the facility) will be given priority.

*Experience Required: Low risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasound, Routine delivery - vaginal & low forceps, Complicated delivery - C-Section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc., Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations, Gynecology office, IUD, Cystoscopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOAs, chromal tubation

*Preferred Experience: High Risk pregnancy (i.e., w/toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.) Gynecology operative/Major - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, etc., Skilled at newborn circumcision

*This facility has about 90-100 births annually
