Job Description
The Department of Radiology of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital seeks a full-time academic nuclear medicine radiologist at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor.
The Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging maintains a PET/CT scanner, a SPECT/CT camera, 3 SPECT gamma cameras, a single-head LFOV gamma camera, and a DEXA scanner.
Responsibilities include active participation in clinical and educational endeavors within the Division of Nuclear Medicine and the Department of Radiology to include interpreting nuclear medicine stress tests, PET-CT, SPECT-CT, bone densitometry, and general nuclear medicine studies, as well as participation in theranostics.
Candidates will provide a collegial and collaborative environment to promote growth, excellent patient care and interdisciplinary research. Prior experience in PET and PET/CT preferred.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must have: 1) MD, DO or equivalent degree, 2) Board Certification or board eligible by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine or a CAQ in Nuclear Radiology from the American Board of Radiology, 3) license or eligibility to practice medicine in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
