Deaconess Henderson Hospital (DHH), a 118-bed Acute Care hospital, is seeking a dedicated Nocturnist to join our growing team. Location: Deaconess Henderson Hospital (DHH), Henderson, Kentucky
Position: Full-Time Nocturnist
Schedule: 9-Hour Physician Shifts (15 shifts/month), 12-Hour Advanced Practice Provider Coverage Daily
Compensation: Competitive Salary, Up to $164K in Sign-On Incentives

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as a nocturnist in a 118-bed hospital with an emergency department that has 17 beds and handles approximately 25,000 annual emergency visits.
• Provide coverage during 9-hour physician shifts (15 shifts per month).
• Collaborate with a team of full-time physicians and several supplemental physicians as part of the Deaconess Henderson Emergency Physician Team.
• Daily Advanced Practice Provider coverage ensures support during your shifts.
• Hospitalist service for admissions and specialty support from Pulmonary Critical Care, Cardiology, and other services.
• Holiday coverage is required as part of the team rotation.
• Utilize Epic EMR, which is integrated across Deaconess hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Prior Emergency Medicine experience and/or Emergency Medicine fellowship training preferred but not required.
• Strong commitment to providing quality patient care during nighttime hours.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and specialists.
