We are hiring for a Nocturnist positions. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • We are seeking a nocturnist to become part of a cohesive and well-established team of six daytime MDs, two swing APPs, two nocturnist physicians, and a clinical performance nurse at Northwest Texas Healthcare System.
  • Work alongside a unique blend of clinicians with diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds.
  • We pride ourselves on our strong medical skillset, unwavering ethics, and our stellar record of patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
  • J1 candidates invited to apply; access to Sound’s in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and credentialing experts.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • This is a nocturnist position; hours are 7 pm – 7 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care and post operative care.
  • Support the code team and provide basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, pediatric advanced life support, and advanced trauma life support where needed.
  • Procedures are preferred, but not required; training is available.

    • Compensation is $2,000 per night shift, with an anticipated base salary of $365,000 annually based on 182.5 shifts per year.
