This position is for a Nocturnist role and requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • We are seeking a nocturnist to join our large, diverse group of 34 physicians and two APPs at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas.
  • We work collaboratively with a healthy structure of work/home balance and try very hard to separate rounding duties from admitting.
  • We’ve fostered collegial relationships with the specialists. We pride ourselves on being a community hospital, but also quite capable of taking care of Level 1 trauma, acute CVA, and complicated heart issues.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certified/eligible in internal or family medicine.
  • Family medicine trained physicians must have 2+ years of experience.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Scheduling:

  • This is a nocturnist position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training residents and medical students through the GME program.
  • No procedural skills are needed, and our doctors are not expected to run codes.
  • Ability to deal with complex medical and social situations and must have a patient-centered and caring mindset.
