We are hiring for a Nocturnist positions. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

- We are seeking a nocturnist to join our close-knit team of four physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs) at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital.
- Work alongside diverse clinicians from the Tri-state Area, including NYC, NJ, and the Hudson Valley. Our team collaborates closely and is encouraged to participate in medical committees, contributing to shared decision-making and professional development.

Flexible Scheduling:
- This is a nocturnist position work nights

Key Responsibilities:
- This nocturnist position provides overnight care for medical and surgical patients in a Level 3 trauma community hospital with a 15-bed census, 5-bed ICU, and 22 inpatient psychiatry beds.
- Serve a diverse patient population in a low-volume ED with high acuity, providing essential specialty services such as cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, general surgery, urology, infectious disease, and podiatry.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a hospital that functions as a primary receiving stroke center, holds a geriatric-accredited emergency department, and serves as a department of correction receiving facility.
- Collaborate with team members and utilize the hospital’s outpatient clinic for coordinated care.

- Compensation: Annual compensation ranges from $283,000 to $347,000. The lower range applies to day shifts, while the higher range is for night shifts.
