Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is hiring a Nocturnist at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. Accommodating more than 250,000 outpatient visits, and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College Of Osteopathic Medicine.

Opportunity Details

  • Medical Management and care of patients in the Medicine Inpatient units
  • Medical management of patients awaiting admission to Medicine Inpatient Units in the Emergency Department and Designated patient hold areas
  • Attend to consultations and referrals as needed
  • Provide education and training to resident, medical student staff and junior members of the medical team
  • Collaboration with facilty-wide departments as required
  • Participation in hospital wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Current or pending NYS license
  • Active DEA license
  • Cultural sensitivity and experience treating a diverse patient population preferred
