As a full time Academic Nocturnist Physician in New Haven, CT., you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to hospitalized patients throughout their hospital stay, particularly during nighttime hours. Key responsibilities: Emergency Evaluation and Triage, Admissions, Formulating and implementing comprehensive care plans based on the latest evidence-based protocols.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited Internal medicine residency program.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Connecticut.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine.
  • DEA registration
  • Previous experience in a hospitalist or nocturnist role is preferred.
  • Experience in academic or teaching settings is highly desirable.
