Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Groups has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Nocturnist physician to join an existing Hospitalist group at St. Mary Medical Center located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Job Description:
  • Schedule: 7 on/7 off; hours 7:00 pm–7:00 am
  • Preferred Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (Family Medicine may be considered)
  • Work alongside 1 physician, 1 NP and 4 residents each night
  • Average number of patients: 12-15: can be divided 8 patients to the resident and NP came to 2 admissions post-midnight.
  • Nurse Practitioner manages all floor calls
  • Closed ICU
  • RRTs and codes are managed by ICU team no procedures or lines required
  • Support from internal medicine and family medicine residents for admissions (8-10 admissions possible)
  • Provide patient care in both medical office and hospital settings
  • Committed to helping patient populations reach optimal health
  • Diagnose, treat, and refer patients while maintaining expected medical standards
  • Collaborate with NPs, RNs, and clinical staff
  • Adhere to all SMMC/SMPG policies and procedures and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
  • Not accepting visa candidates
  • Not open to commuters and/or those looking for secondary employment
Compensation and Benefits:

Submission Requirements
  • Board Eligible (with plans to become BC) or Board Certified in Internal Medicine (IM preferred) or Family Medicine
  • PA license (or willing to obtain)
  • DEA (or willing to obtain)
  • ACLS and BLS (or willing to obtain)
