We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours

Local Team Collaboration:
- Be part of a team of 18 experienced physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs) at Piedmont Macon.
- Work alongside clinicians from diverse backgrounds who collaborate and learn from one another.
- Partner with our hospital’s internal medicine residency program, where four hospitalists have stayed on after their residencies due to our strong culture of teamwork.
- Engage in community health initiatives and collaborate across hospital departments to ensure seamless care.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in internal or family medicine.
- Open to new graduates and experienced physicians.
- Eligible for J1 visa sponsorship through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Schedule:
- This nocturnist role works in a supportive environment that promotes balance and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care in a 30-bed closed ICU with no procedural requirements.
- Participate in rapid response and code teams as part of a hospitalist team trained in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support.
- Leverage EPIC and Sound Physicians’ advanced informatics platform to enhance patient care.

- Compensation: Annual salary ranges from $294,000 to $330,000, with additional incentives.
