We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our closely knit, established team of 18 physicians and six advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by a clinical performance nurse.
  • Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who learn from one another to provide high-quality patient care.
  • We have a stable team that is steadily expanding. We are looking to add more clinicians to our growing practice.
  • Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified physician with experience in hospital medicine or a desire to transition into the field.
  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
Practice in the Heart of Rocky Mount

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hospitalist care in a semi-open ICU with intensivist coverage during the day and E-ICU coverage at night.
  • Participate in the code team, with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Focus on delivering high-quality care while benefiting from a flexible schedule, allowing for time with family, friends, and personal interests.
  • Join a team where everyone covers for each other to ensure continuity of care when teammates are out.
