Permanent Position - not locums
Join established and well respected Neurology team
Primarily Outpatient based
Approximately mix of 80% General, 20% for subspecialty
Outpatient-based subspecialties are best fit: MS, Spasticity, Movement Disorders, Headache, Epilepsy
1 in 4 Call and is phone call only.
This is an employed position with a financially stable employer.

Job Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic tests, imaging tests, EEGs, and biopsies
Analyze patient test results, blood work, and spinal fluid
Set patient goals and discuss a treatment plan
Establish timelines, tasks, and medical needs of the patient
Develop treatment plans for medications or therapy to help the patient reach their goal
Prescribe medications and monitor patient intake
Recommend surgeons or other further treatments
Consult neurosurgeon and other surgeons on patient procedures
Monitor patient progress post-surgery
Document patient records and progress including symptoms, medications, and treatments
Provide patient with tools and methods for recovery and better quality of life
Educate patient, patient's family, significant others, and relevant parties of patient progress, treatment, and future goals
Conduct research to better serve patients
Qualifications
Successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
Eligible or Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and local state requirements must be met
Three-year residency in neurology
