Faculty Member of our World-Renowned Headache Center
For over a century, Montefiore Medical Center has been synonymous with quality healthcare. As the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, our mission has always been to heal, teach, discover and to advance the health of the communities we serve. Our advancements are only made possible by the high caliber of talent we employ. And it is these extraordinary people who make us one of the most prestigious academic medical centers in the nation.
Currently, our Department of Neurology is seeking a Clinical Faculty Member for our world-renowned Headache Center. This practice is located at the new Hutchinson Metro Center and is comprised of a 6,000-square-foot outpatient facility with an infusion center. The Hutchinson Metro Center, known as a “hospital without beds,” is where we offer multidisciplinary, patient-centered services that bring the healthcare of tomorrow to patients from the Bronx and beyond. It is uniquely located and easily accessible for patients coming from the northern suburbs, Connecticut, New Jersey, Long Island, Manhattan and Queens. The new facility also reflects the ongoing evolution of the delivery of healthcare, providing space for multidisciplinary approaches to care and integrating technology that will allow us to provide necessary treatments without the need for hospitalization.
Candidates for the Clinical Faculty position should be Board-Certified in both Neurology and Headache medicine and have the ability to be a member of a large clinical practice focused on headache diagnosis and treatment. This position also requires an interest in supporting a dynamic research program that receives NIH, foundation and industry funding.
We take a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating patients with head and facial pain. Our staff includes UCNS-certified headache neurologists, health psychologists and 2 fellows in our UCNS-accredited fellowship. We also have nursing and research staff and access to the resources of Montefiore and Einstein.
The selected candidates will become part of an outstanding team that includes Drs. Richard Lipton, an international academic leader in Headache medicine. For more information and to apply, visit [Register to View] or send your cover letter and resume to John C. Pinto at [Register to View] or call [Register to View] . We are an equal opportunity employer.
