Position Summary:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed in Montana to perform Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Compensation & Pension (C&P) evaluations for U.S. Veterans. This is a meaningful, non-treatment role focused solely on evaluating Veterans' health and service-related conditions as part of their disability claims process with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
This role does not involve treatment, prescribing, or follow-up care. The provider will conduct clinical interviews, review medical history, and complete a structured evaluation focused on TBI and related conditions.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform one-time, non-treatment TBI evaluations for Veterans, including in-depth history taking and physical exams

Complete documentation using standardized Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)

Submit accurate and timely reports through a secure online system

Travel within the state of Montana to serve Veterans at various locations as needed

Ensure respectful, veteran-centered care throughout the evaluation process
Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Montana NP or PA license (Required)

Must reside in the state of Montana (Required)

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred

Experience with neurological assessments or Veterans preferred, but not required

Must have reliable transportation for in-state travel

Strong documentation and assessment skills

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, part-time schedule
