Position Overview:
Seeking a general neurosurgeon with a focus on spine and general procedures to help build a new neuroscience program in Parkersburg, WV. The position offers academic faculty rank and the opportunity to be part of a statewide, integrated neuroscience institute.
Position Highlights:
General neurosurgical practice with emphasis on spine procedures
Opportunity to build a new neurosurgical program as part of a regional network
Additional training in minimally invasive spine (MIS) procedures strongly supported
Access to advanced facilities and robust referral base
Academic rank available (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) based on experience
Collaborative team of neurosurgeons and neuroscience professionals
Involvement in education, outreach, and multidisciplinary care
Qualifications:
MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery residency program
Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery
Eligible for medical licensure in West Virginia
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
