Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Neurologist to join their medical team. This role offers the opportunity to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including disorders of the brain, spine, and nervous system. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological concerns in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, treat, and manage neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, MS, dementia, and neuropathy
- Conduct patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical exams
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, and EEGs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide patient education on neurological health, treatments, and preventive care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, specialists, and therapists
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Participate in clinical research and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Neurology
- Active medical license in NY (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting neurological diagnostic procedures
- Excellent communication, patient care, and teamwork abilities
Please note- The annual base salary range is $200k to $300k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
