General Neurologist

Locations: Mesa, Midtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, Ahwatukee

Hours & Schedule: Full-Time preferred, Part-Time considered based on office space availability

Compensation:

  • Full-Time (Salary-Based): $280,000 - $400,000 per year (depending on sub-specialty)
  • Contractor Position (% of Collections): Potential earnings of $500,000+ per year (productivity-based

Job Summary

We are seeking neurologists to join our expanding team across multiple locations in the Phoenix area. This role involves the diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological disorders, with opportunities for both general neurology and various sub-specialties. Physicians will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team and stay updated with the latest advancements in neurology.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with neurological conditions.
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient neurological care.
  • Interpret neurological tests, including CT scans, MRIs, and EEGs.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with neurosurgeons, nurses, physical therapists, and other specialists.
  • Supervise and support advanced practice providers.
  • Participate in ongoing research and professional development.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Attend departmental meetings, training sessions, and mentoring opportunities.

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements

  • Board Certification in Neurology (or ability to obtain)
  • Arizona State MD/DO License (or ability to obtain)
  • Completion of US Based Residency/Fellowship Program (Not Puerto Rico)

Neurologist Specialties We Are Seeking

We are looking for General Neurologists as well as specialists in the following areas:

  • General Neurology – Open to candidates straight out of residency or experienced neurologists seeking a new opportunity.
  • Neuromuscular – Fellowship-trained (1-2 years) in EMG or neuromuscular disorders.
  • Peripheral Neuropathy – At least 6 months of EMG fellowship/experience with a strong interest in treating peripheral nerve diseases.
  • Neuro-immunology – No fellowship required, but must have a strong interest in MS and autoimmune neurological diseases.
  • Headache – No fellowship required, but must have a strong interest in headache management.
  • Memory – Open to any neurologist (fellowship-trained or not) with an interest in dementia.
  • Vestibular – No fellowship required.
  • Neuro-Hospitalist – Needed for Gilbert Mercy Medical Centers; all sub-specialties considered.

We are NOT currently seeking: Seizure, Movement Disorder, or Vascular sub-specialties.
