Academic Neuro-Hospitalist Opening in Dayton, OH Position Details

  • Seeking a full-time academic-minded Neurohospitalist with a passion for teaching the next generation of physician learners. The Neurohospitalist will be part of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary neuroscience program that provides total neurologic care for patients and their families. The program is proud to be a leading neurological care and research facility in Southwest Ohio, providing diagnoses and treatments for conditions of the nervous system, brain, and spine. As a faculty member, you will play an integral role in educating and training neurology students, residents, and fellows, while providing care to a diverse patient population.
  • In this role, you will be part of both one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in Southwest Ohio and Wright State University s Boonshoft School of Medicine. This partnership creates a dynamic environment where patient care, clinical research, and medical education intersect. As a faculty physician, you will contribute to improving patient outcomes, advancing clinical innovation, and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. Position Highlights: Flexible scheduling; 7 on 7 off schedule or 182 shifts annually Telestroke coverage is not provided by the Neurohospitalist APP support Job Requirements: Qualified candidates include: Neurocritical care or prior neurology hospitalist experience. Would also consider vascular/stroke trained or epilepsy trained candidates.
