Job Description
The Department of Neurology is seeking an outstanding candidate for an Assistant Instructor position, specializing in the treatment of Movement Disorders. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with conditions such as Tremors, Parkinson's Disease, Dystonia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Huntington's Disease. Additionally, the position includes evaluating patients for surgical interventions including Deep Brain Stimulation and Focused Ultrasound procedures.
Key Duties:
- Schedule Mix: 8 half days of clinic focusing on patients with Movement Disorders & 1 day of tele-consult service coverage
- Location: Medical Center Boulevard, Winston Salem, NC
- Your Team: 8 Clinicians
- Clinical Care: Expected to participate in our resident clinic coverage model and will have the opportunity to participate in our teleconsult service coverage model.
- Collaborative Work: Work collaboratively with the Movement Disorders program faculty, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, neuropsychiatrists, and therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.

Fellowship training in Movement Disorders
