Opportunity: Neurology

General Neurologist opportunity to become a member of our team! Healthcare Organization utilizing a modern approach to co-create health with those who get, give, and pay for it, allowing everyone to fully flourish. The General Neurologist will have an important role in shaping care. In addition to providing general neurological care and consultation primarily in the ambulatory setting, the Neurologist will develop care pathways and clinical rules to support primary care colleagues. Services will include in-person, virtual, and telephone visits and emphasizes the health of the panel rather than typical productivity measures in fee-for-service. As a specialist, you will work in an innovative, team-based care environment with an emphasis on digital health.

Our Neurologist will be responsible for:

  • Providing general neurological care and consultation to patients
  • Developing care pathways and clinical rules
  • Collaborating to provide team-based care
  • Providing Clinician-to-Clinician (C2C) e-consultation to streamline care for issues that do not require an in-person assessment
  • Being involved in population health management to ensure appropriate screening for and treatment of neurology diseases across the Harbor Health population

Requirements:

  • An MD or DO, along with the successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency program
  • Board certification in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • A Texas Medical License or be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
