**Neurohospitalist Opportunity in Knoxville, TN** **Position Details** - Seeking a BC/BE Neurohospitalist to join the regions leading Comprehensive Stroke Center located in Knoxville - This is to replace a pending retirement - 100% inpatient opportunity - 7 days on / 7 days off schedule- two physicians staffed at a time each week - Vascular or Neuro-critical care BC/BE preferred, but not required - Currently six physicians in the group. Looking to replace a pending retirement summer 2024. - 1 in 3 home call when on service (5-6 nights/month total) - Opportunity to assist with Telemedicine opportunities throughout the system - Expert medical support staff resources available including epilepsy, neuromuscular, neuro-critical care, neurosurgery, neuro-interventional radiology and outpatient neurology **Benefits Details** - Competitive salary - Excellent benefits to include but not limited to: annual CME stipend, relocation allowance, 401K matching, malpractice, medical, dental and vision, disability & life insurance - Medical students available with additional compensation, but not required - Research opportunities and/or clinical trials if interested, but not required **Facility Details** - 24/7 stroke team - 24/7 neuro imaging - Dedicated neuro ICU - Dedicated department of stroke research **Community Details** Located on the Tennessee River with the Great Smoky Mountains as a backdrop, Knoxville is an incredible combination of big city excitement and small town southern charm.
