The VA Healthcare system in Aurora, Colorado is seeking an experienced board-certified Neurology Section Chief. This is an amazing opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our veterans.
Position Highlights:
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage of the dermatology consultation service in rotation with other staff Neurologists.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
- As the Chief of Neurology, you are responsible for the leadership, management, clinical oversight, and operational components of this diverse neurology section.
- You will oversee the delivery of a breadth of clinical care, including inpatient consultation and outpatient clinic.
- Additionally, subspecialty care including neuroimmunology, neuromuscular, epilepsy, movement disorders, behavioral neurology, sleep disorders, vascular neurology, and neuropalliative care are offered at this teaching hospital.
- Clinical research opportunities are available in this outstanding work and life environment. You must qualify for an academic appointment at our affiliated university, University of Colorado (CU), Denver.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD or DO Degree
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible

Qualifications
• MD or DO Degree
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Competitive candidates will have 2+ years of leadership and department administrative experience
