This physician leader will be assigned to the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO. As the Chief of Neurology, you are responsible for the leadership, management, clinical oversight, and operational components of this diverse neurology section. This is a general neurology practice and has flexibility, depending on the candidate’s interests, experience, and track record. You will oversee the delivery of a breadth of clinical care, including inpatient consultation and outpatient clinic. Additionally, subspecialty care including neuroimmunology, neuromuscular, epilepsy, movement disorders, behavioral neurology, sleep disorders, vascular neurology, and neuropalliative care are offered at this teaching hospital. You will work closely with other Neurologists and Nurse Practitioners with different sub-specialty training and interests. Clinical research opportunities are available in this outstanding work and life environment. You must qualify for an academic appointment at our affiliated university, University of Colorado (CU), Denver.

Qualifications

Must be U.S. Citizen (Non-Citizen May Be Considered IAW VA Policy)
Must have current, active & unencumbered US State Medical License (any State)
Must be BC/BE in neurology
Competitive candidates will have 2+ years of leadership and department administrative experience

Working Hours

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/wk; Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage of the dermatology consultation service in rotation with other staff Neurologists.
