Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Department of Neurology, seeks a Clinician or Clinician-Educator who will be appointed at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include clinical care of adult neuro-oncology patients and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Opportunities to participate in research programs are available. Clinical trials experience is preferred. This position would be active in our multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, neuropathologists, and neuroradiologists and join our 2 senior faculty neuro-oncologists. Vanderbilt is an NCI Designated Cancer Center.

The Department of Neurology has over 150 faculty, fellows, and residents spanning ten divisions and five centers and ranks 13th in the nation for NIH funding. Vanderbilt ranks 5th among the nation’s elite medical schools for research, is ranked as a “Best Hospital” Honor Roll designee, and we hold the top ranking for both adult and children’s hospitals in Tennessee by U.S. News & World Report. Our network of clinics, both main campus and community-based, provides over 70,000 annual ambulatory neurology visits.

Qualified candidates will be Adult Neurologists who 1) hold an M.D./D.O. degree; 2) be board certified/eligible in Neuro-Oncology (UCNS) and 3) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Tennessee.
