SIH's Brain and Spine Institute is a busy practice seeking to hire a dedicated outpatient Neurologist. You will work in a collegial atmosphere with physicians who are passionate about patient care. This opportunity is outpatient only, with no call, no nights and no weekends, which will allow you to enjoy a better work and life balance. If you are Fellowship trained in EMG that is a plus. This is a five-day a week full-time opportunity that will prove to be rewarding as well as keep you on your toes. The requirements are that you complete an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training program in Neurology, be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of Residency. Job Responsibilities

Admit, evaluate, diagnose, provide consultation (including telehealth), medically manage and treat
patients with acquired or congenital disease, disorders or impaired function of the neurological
system

Qualifications

- Completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training program in Neurology.
- Current certification in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or in
Neurology by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology & Psychiatry or its equivalent. Board
certification must be achieved within five years of being admissible to take the exam.
- Applicant must provide documentation of provision of neurology services (50 cases)
representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous year
(waived for applicants who completed training during the previous year).
AND
- If requesting privileges for the performance and interpretation of EMG/nerve conduction/autonomic
testing, applicant must provide documentation of 50 studies during the previous year (waived for
applicants who completed training during the previous year).

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 7:30-3:30 or 8:00 - 4:30, no nights not weekends 100% outpatient
