• Hours of need are 1400-1700 daily, but could need up to 5 hours of coverage per day

Clinical Details

• Telehealth
• Trauma level 2
• Required equipment will be sent to the provider
• 100% Adults
• 100% Inpatient
• Lab and x-ray onsite
• RN TelePresenter assists with all hands on neurologic exams (site side)
• Digital Access Center - 24/7 white glove, concierge service for all technology & workflow issues
• Telehealth Cart Peripherals: additional devices that can be attached or paired (via Wi-Fi) with the TH Cart and are used to assist in the neurologic assessment
  • These include an EKO stethoscope and a hand-held camera called a JedMed camera
• Exams include most neurological diagnoses (sub-acute, some limited scope with telepresentation exam capability)
• Non-emergent admitted patients only (facility has emergent teleneurology service available)
• No curbside consults
• Exams conducted with compliant, secure bi-directional video session
• Portal training (web-based) for assignment of case referrals and case encounter data. Along with baseline of patients needing to be rounded on

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active MT License or IMLC
• Fellowship - Preferred
• Preferred skill: EEG (Electroencephalogram)

Support Staff

• 1 RN
• Integrated team including radiologists, hospitalists, pharmacists, nurses, and therapists for ongoing collaboration for admitted patients, aiming to keep care local, minimize length of stay and prevent unnecessary transfers
