**Neurosurgeon opening in Great Falls, MT** - Located 90 miles from Helena and 160 miles from Missoula **Position Details:** - Full-time, permanent - Hospital Employed - Seeking a Neurosurgeon to join our team while we focus on succession planning to maintain excellent future neurosurgery programs at our regional trauma center - We currently employ 2 neurosurgeons, one retiring early 2025, in addition to a private practice neurosurgeon and per-diem neurosurgeons who participate in the call schedule - Cover only 1 hospital with 10 state-of-the-art operating rooms and DaVinci robotics - Largest Emergency Department in the state of Montana 33 beds - Hospital air ambulance program fixed wing jet and helicopter, completing over 1,100 flights annually - Modern hospital floors including a 21 bed ICU with 24/7 Critical Care physician coverage, an Ortho-Neuro Wellness Unit and a robust hospitalist program - Inpatient rehab unit with acute inpatient physiatry consults and beds devoted to TBI patients who participate in an established comprehensive program including outpatient therapies. - Clinic is located within a 5-minute walk of the operating room and inpatient hospital floors and can be accessed by a skybridge - Clinic hours are typically M-F, 8:00 5:00 pm, flexibility in schedule - Excellent support staff including: RNs, CMAs, CNAs, and schedulers - Call schedule is guaranteed 1:4 - Work in a medical group employing over 340 providers **Compensation and Benefits:** - Guaranteed compensation with production and incentive bonus structures - Generous sign-on / relocation bonus - Annual $5,000 CME + $1,000 license/dues - 8 weeks PTO (6 vacation, 2 CME) - 5-7% retirement match + 457b program - Physician wellness programs focused on personal and professional development - Monthly meetings with highest-level physician and administrative leadership to bring ideas forward and solve issues **Great Falls Community Information** - Populated with 60,000 residents and regionally supports nearly 260,000 rural Montana residents - Nationally-ranked public schools and two accredited colleges - Is equidistant from Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park - Boasts four genuine seasons and blue skies over 300 days a year - Has an international airport with direct flights to Denver, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Seattle and more - Divided by the Missouri River, a world-class fly fishing and watersport destination - Dominated by agriculture and outdoor adventure including, camping, hiking, horseback riding, water & snow skiing, rock & ice climbing, boating, off-road motorsports, upland bird, waterfowl, and big game hunting
