Our affiliation with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine provides extensive teaching opportunities for medical students, neurology residents, and neurovascular fellows. The rapidly expanding Institute is dedicated to comprehensive patient care, academic excellence, and pioneering research. With a team of 135 neuroscience physicians and advanced practitioners, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of neurological care. Position Highlights: - Join a Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing exceptional care to over 1000 patients annually at Hartford Hospital. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within our specialized Stroke and Neuro-Critical Care units. - Benefit from round-the-clock coverage by dedicated endovascular and neurosurgery teams. - Engage in teaching and mentorship programs for neurology residents, vascular neurology fellows, and neuro interventional radiology fellows. - Access cutting-edge treatment options, including IV Tenecteplase and Endovascular therapy. - Participate in telemedicine/tele-stroke services and contribute to our established outpatient Neurovascular clinic. - Secure academic appointments with the prestigious University of Connecticut Medical School. - Play an integral role in ongoing research initiatives and potentially serve as a site Principal Investigator. Qualifications: - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology with specialized fellowship training in Vascular Neurology. - Commitment or desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment serving a diverse patient population. - Passion for education and mentorship, fostering the growth of trainees from varied backgrounds. - Strong interest in research with a desire to actively participate in academic endeavors.
