Seeking a full-time, board-eligible/board-certified Neurologist to join our inpatient Neurohospitalist and outpatient Stroke Clinic teams. This unique split position offers a diverse and fulfilling career in both acute inpatient neurology and specialized outpatient stroke care. Join a large and sophisticated neurology group and robust, certified thrombectomy-capable stroke program and outpatient Stroke and TIA Clinic in beautiful eastern Washington with 24/7 specialty support from neurosurgery, endovascular neurosurgery, vascular surgery, epilepsy, neuro-IR, neuroradiology, psychiatry and more. Practice with one of the West's largest and most integrated health systems in Spokane, the stroke/neurologic and educational hub of eastern Washington with state-of-the-art advanced imaging, EEG and interventional technologies. Facilities in Spokane include 644-bed Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and its own dedicated children's hospital, 272-bed Providence Holy Family Hospital in north Spokane, and subspecialty neurology outpatient clinics. - Fellowship training in vascular neurology or equivalent neurohospitalist experience preferred
- 7 on, 7 off Neurohospitalist schedule, 12-hour inpatient shifts, alternating with total of 10 weekdays of clinic/month
- 0.5 FTE neurohospitalist/0.5 FTE stroke clinic neurologist
- Additional work and compensation opportunities with Providence telestroke/teleneurology
- Support from stroke/neuro-trained nurse practitioners, research coordinators, outpatient neurologists specializing in MS, epilepsy, neuromuscular, sleep, movement disorder and dementia
- Resident and medical student teaching and mentoring opportunities with optional clinical faculty appointments through University of Washington School of Medicine and/or Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine
- Compensation is between $260,686 and $382,015 per year
- Competitive compensation which may include productivity or quality/service incentives, extra shift pay with incentives as applicable to the position, and CME benefits
