Locum - Neurology - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury & General Medicine

Join a dedicated practice in California focused on supporting our nation's Veterans. We are seeking compassionate and skilled physicians to conduct a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury examinations. The positions are available at multiple locations within California, contributing to essential care for those who have served.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive interviews and physical assessments for veterans, focusing on Traumatic Brain Injury and General Medicine.
• Perform non-treatment examinations with no prescribing or therapeutic interventions required.
• Complete required evaluations and report findings using standardized forms within 48 hours post-exam.
• Utilize a personal laptop for accessing VES's provider portal (Windows OS only; no Mac or Apple products).
• Participate in ongoing administrative work, such as addendums and medical opinions.
• Stay proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Engage in required DMA training and maintain updated certifications as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Active and unrestricted full medical license in California.
• Experience in evaluating and diagnosing musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Possess a valid ECFMG certificate if applicable.
• Commitment to ongoing education and obtaining DMA certification if not already certified.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current California medical license.
• Board Certification in recognized specialty areas.
• Willingness to undergo DMA training to achieve certification.
