Locum - Neurology - MD/DO

Job Title: Locum Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury examinations.
• Perform interview-based assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete evaluations and submit standardized forms within 48 hours of exam completion.
• Engage in follow-up administrative tasks such as addendums and medical opinions.
• Utilize a Goniometer and ensure proper assessment of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide ongoing support to veterans.
• Maintain records and conduct thorough evaluations using the facility's provider portal.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Nebraska.
• Proficient in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Possess a personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current board certification.
• Valid Nebraska medical license.
• Completion of DMA certification upon the request of the facility.
